Background

Muslim Audio is a second phase of the original two-phase plan that started in 2001 with Chinar Leaf Studios (pronounced: chee-nar leaf), LLC, a recording and production company. 

• Chinar Leaf Studios, is the first Muslim audio company to produce quality recordings on CD in Houston and to provide multi-session recordings with on-demand CDs for conference attendees.  Chinar Leaf Studios vision and mission was to "raise the bar" on Islamic audio recordings, to provide awareness of piracy concerns in the Muslim community, and to revive the practice of using written contractual agreements.  It is our observation that Chinar Leaf Studios has served as a template and motivation for many local and out-of-state brothers and sisters which has given rise to multiple Muslim-owned-and-operated audio companies that you may know today.
• Muslim Audio, LLC, a Houston based Islamic audio company, was formed in 2004 by Br. Asim.  Muslim Audio is the retail operation to market audio products from many different manufacterers.   

Even though Muslim Audio and Chinar Leaf Studios remain separate entities, they work in tandem to spread the dawah and knowledge.

Muslim Audio's successes are attributed to the customers who support Muslim Audio through the purchase of the audios, their thoughts, and the inspiration they provide to the company. It has been through this support that Muslim Audio has grown from being a “cart table” vendor to distributing products to various retailers in the U.S. and abroad. Muslim Audio has customers from countries as tiny as Mauritius to as far away as Malaysia.

Our Mission  

Ususally under this subject heading, the marketing professional might advise one to say, ..."we aim to be the sole source (this or that).", or "we are the leading (this or that)".  As we see it, the dawah is solely in the "Hands" of Allah(swt) and we are merely custodians of it.  So our mission has been very simple (in order of priority):

1. educate ourselves
2. to behave and practice business with fairness and honesty to the best of our ability
3. to provide affordable, hi-quality, authentic, Islamic knowledge for Muslims and/or Non-Muslims
4. to continually monitor and upgrade customer service needs and response times
5. to have fun accomplishing our mission
